The Ecology

 

Costa Rica is one of the most diverse ecological sites in the entire world. Costa Rica is only 0.03% of the earth's surface, but contains 6% of the worlds bio diversity. This is from the fact that Costa Rica has 12 different ecological zones. Also, many bird and butterfly watchers come to Costa Rica. There are over 850 different bird species, more than are in North America. Butterfly watchers are never dissapointed since there are more butterfly species than all of Africa.
